A sitemap is a file on your website that lists every URL of your webpage for Google and other search engines. It’s easier for Google to read this single file than crawl every page of your site. Having a sitemap will surely benefit your search engine ranking.

Small win for Shopify here because they automatically create a sitemap for each store. Whereas with Lemonstand you have to setup your sitemap manually. To be fair, you can customize your sitemap with Lemonstand, which you can’t do with Shopify, but most store owners will never need to do that, so it’s nice to have it setup out of the box.
